Shiori Silver, M.S.


Shiori Silver joined Residence Life and Housing at VCU in 2015 as the hall director of West Grace South. Silver is responsible for supervising resident advisors, advising the West Grace South Community Council, managing facility concerns, facilitating student conduct meetings, providing student development opportunities, responding to student concerns and coordinating social and educational programs.

Silver works in conjunction with the VCU ASPiRE staff to support the various needs of the students, support the LIVE component of ASPiRE, collaborate between ASPiRE and Residential Life on programming efforts and carry out the vision of the ASPiRE program.

Prior to joining VCU, Silver was a residence life coordinator at California State University, Sacramento, in a first-year residence hall. Silver’s interests include living-learning programs, first year transition and transformative learning experiences.
