Alex Krist, M.D., associate professor, and Steven Woolf, M.D., professor, community-engaged research experts from the Department of Family Medicine and Population Health in the VCU School of Medicine, have released their most recent study, “Clinical and Community Delivery Systems for Preventive Care: An Integration Framework,” published in the October issue of the American Journal of Preventive Medicine.

VCU Police has brought a powerful new safety tool to campus for the new academic year. The department recently partnered with LiveSafe, a technology startup that has created a mobile app by the same name designed to improve interaction between campus law enforcement agencies and their communities.

Late last month, 122 of the small, blue, all-in-one recycling bins were distributed to each of the dorm rooms of 835 West Grace Street South, home of VCU’s ASPiRE, a living-learning community for students interested in community engagement, as part of a new residence hall recycling program.
