Importance of Mentoring Featured in Op-Ed

Virginia Mentoring Partnership Board Chair Hannah Huber Bearer had her article "Why Mentoring Matters: Caring adults can close the gap," published in the Richmond Times-Dispatch Jan. 25, 2015.

The article was written in support of National Mentoring Month, which is held annually in January and highlights mentoring and the positive impact it can have on young lives.

Virginia Mentoring Partnership is affiliated with VCU's Division of Community Engagement and provides training and technical assistance to mentors and mentoring programs to increase the quality and quantity of mentoring for Virginia's youth.
