Jennifer Boyle has been named the new executive director of MENTOR Virginia. MENTOR Virginia is an anchor organization that promotes effective youth mentoring by increasing the capacity and sustainability of mentoring programs, and providing resources to support the mentoring field throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. The organization is affiliated with VCU's Center for Community Engagement and Impact.

Before becoming the Executive Director of MENTOR Virginia, Boyle provided over seven years of leadership as the vice president of operations for Junior Achievement of Central Virginia (JA), an organization that promotes work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy for grades K-12. Prior to joining JA, Boyle served 10 years with the Children’s Museum of Richmond as director of guest services, director of development, and director of education.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to advance MENTOR Virginia’s mission of setting mentors and mentoring programs up for success,” Boyle said. “Quality mentoring has significant positive effects on young people’s social, emotional, and academic growth and can strengthen the communities we live in. MENTOR Virginia’s opportunity for growth is limitless and I am excited to be a part of an organization that has the potential to impact more young people each year.”
