Carnegie Classification for Community Engagement
VCU is deeply committed to strengthening communities through meaningful partnerships, engaged teaching, and collaborative research. This year, the university submitted its application for the Carnegie Classification for Community Engagement, a national framework that recognizes institutions for integrating community engagement into their mission and operations.
